³/₁₆"六角方孔螺钉用扳手
#2针头十字型螺丝起子
³/₁₆" Hex (Allen Wrench)
#2 Pin Head Phillips Screwdriver

1. 在指示器上松开 ¹/₄"方孔头固定螺丝。从阀门阀杆上拔出拆下指示器。
   Loosen ¹/₄" Allen-head set screw on indicator flag. Remove flag by pulling it off of valve stem.
2. 从盖子上拆卸四个十字针头抗撞螺丝，然后从齿轮执行机构上拆卸盖子（1994年中期以前采用平头螺丝）。
   Remove four Phillips Pin Head tamper-resistant screws from cover and remove cover from gear operator (flat-head screws used prior mid-1994).
3. 将盖子翻过来，并且用螺丝孔在安装垫上标记#4-40螺丝。将一块有切口的绝缘板放置在安装板上，对准孔，用两个#4-40螺丝将开关与金属线头装配起来。紧固螺丝。不管是使用一个或两个开关，都要从最靠近挂锁耳的盖子内的¹/₂" NPT孔中穿出线头。参考图表。（这个孔也可用于安装外置监控开关。）
   Turn cover over and note mounting pads with tapped holes for #4-40 screws. Place one die-cut insulation on mounting pad, line up holes and assemble switch with wire leads using two #4-40 screws. Tighten screws. Whether one or two switches used, run wire leads out of ¹/₂" NPT hole in side of cover closest to padlock ear. Refer to diagram. (This hole can also be used for exterior upervisory switch installation.)
4. 在把盖子重新安装在齿轮执行机构上之前，确认阀瓣位于全开位置处30度的地方。（这使得在重新安装盖子时开关按钮能够避开凸轮。）将盖子放置在阀杆上，用螺丝对准四个孔，装配并紧固螺丝。
   Before reassembling cover to gear operator, make sure disc is approximately 30 degrees away from full open position. (This will allow switch button to clear the cam lobe when replacing cover.) Position cover over stem and align four holes for screws, assemble and tighten screws.
5. 将指示器装配在阀杆上，紧固¹/₂" 固定螺丝以确保安全。
   Assemble flag on stem and tighten ¹/₂" set screw to secure.
