　　Spears® True Union, Single Entry and Compact Ball Valves are designed and produced for trouble-free operation and use. However, certain aspects of installation and application can result in valve malfunctions.
　　这个指南列出所遇到的常见问题以及它们必要的纠正措施。这些问题已经按照外部泄漏，内部泄漏，活动部件被卡住和结构破损等方面进行分类。
　　This guide identifies some of the more common problems encountered and their necessary corrective actions. Such problems have been categorized as External Leaks, Internal Leaks, Frozen Movements and Structural Breakage.

At Thread/Socket Connections

　　采用的液状粘固剂不适合
　　Improper solvent cementing

 　　按照安装说明书更换端口连接件。
　　Replace end connector(s) according to installation instructions.
　　螺纹不适合
　　Improper threads.		 　　检查螺纹尺寸是否适当；更换或重新安装。
　　Check threads for proper size; replace or reinstall.
　　涂敷的螺纹密封剂不足或不适合；密封剂（粘结剂）不兼容。
　　Insufficient or improperly applied thread sealant; incompatible sealant (paste).		 　　按照正确的操作规程重新安装螺纹连接；检查粘结剂的兼容性。
　　Reinstall thread connection according to proper procedures; check paste compatibility.
　　螺纹连接过紧导致连接件破裂。
　　Over-tightened thread joint splitting connector.		 　　更换破裂的端口连接件。
　　Replace cracked end connector(s).
　　阀门支撑不足导致连接件破裂。
　　Insufficient valve support splitting connector.		 　　更换破裂的端口连接件。在阀门的每一侧加装支撑。
　　Replace cracked end connector(s). Add support on each side of valve.
在活接头螺母处
At Union Nuts		 　　端口连接件没有对准。
　　End connector misaligned.		 　　检查系统是否对准 - 端口连接件必须平行。检查是否有足够的阀门支撑。
　　Check system alignment - end connector(s) must be parallel. Check for adequate valve support.
　　O形环移位或损坏；在O形环槽内存有颗粒。
　　Displaced or damaged O-ring; particles in O-ring groove.		 　　拆卸阀门和检查O形环是否有物理或化学损坏。检查O形环兼容性，并进行相应的更换。清洗并重新密封O形环。
　　Remove valve and inspect O-ring for physical or chemical damage. Check O-ring compatibility, replace accordingly. Clean and re-seal O-ring.
　　系统收缩拉动端口连接件；端口连接件间隙不恰当。
　　System contraction pulling end connectors; improper end connector spacing.		 　　检查热变化；固定阀门每一侧的管道；安装膨胀回路。将间隙调整到正确状态。
　　Check thermal variations; anchor pipe each side of valve; install expansion loop. Correct spacing.
　　活接头螺母松了。
　　Loose Union Nut.		 　　重新紧固螺母。
　　Re-tighten nut.
　　拆卸或压紧密封托架O形环。
　　Displaced or pinched seal carrier O-ring.		 　　拆卸密封托架；重新安装阀座或更换O形环。
　　Remove and disassemble seal carrier; re-seat or replace O-ring.
在阀杆
At Stem		 　　阀杆O形环损坏。
　　Damaged stem O-ring.		 　　拆卸阀门阀杆；检查是否存在物理或化学损坏。检查O形环兼容性，并进行相应的更换。
　　Remove and disassemble valve stem; inspect for physical or chemical damage. Check O-ring compatibility, clean replace accordingly.
