Policy Statement

It is the policy of NIBCO INC. to strictly prohibit the employment or use of slaves, prisoners, or trafficked persons. Further, it is the policy of NIBCO to refuse to do business with suppliers who violate laws and regulations applicable to such suppliers prohibiting the employment or use of slaves, prisoners, or trafficked persons.

To ensure compliance with this policy, NIBCO takes the following actions:

• NIBCO refuses to do business with suppliers that engage in conduct in contravention of this policy and/or the prohibitions contained herein;
• NIBCO notifies its suppliers of this policy and the prohibitions contained herein;
• NIBCO verifies its suppliers’ compliance with this policy and the prohibitions contained herein by requiring certain documentation from its suppliers, including, without limitation, compliance certifications;
• NIBCO will cease doing business with any supplier reasonably suspected or discovered by NIBCO to be in violation of this policy or the prohibitions contained herein;
• NIBCO reserves the right to audit its suppliers’ operations and will so audit such suppliers at its sole discretion in the event of a reasonable belief by NIBCO of any violation of this policy or the prohibitions contained herein; and
• NIBCO will provide periodic training regarding the subject matter of this policy and the prohibitions contained herein to all NIBCO associates who interact with NIBCO suppliers and their representative or have management responsibilities relating to NIBCO’s supply chain activities.
