Who is covered?
美国热水器公司（在此简称为“制造商”）对于热水器所有人（在此简称为“所有人”）的质量保证，其初始安装位置范围限制在美利坚合众国内使用的热水器，保质期如下规定。
American Water Heater Company (hereafter referred
to as "Manufacturer") warrants to the Owner of the water heater
(hereafter referred to as "Owner") at the original installation
location coverage restricted to water heater use in the United States
of America for the period specified below.

Conditions of Coverage
在按照随热水器装运的印刷说明书的说明进行安装、操作和维护前提下，本热水器保证在材料和制造工艺上没有缺陷。
The water heater is warranted against defects
in material and workmanship only when installed*, operated and maintained
in accordance with the printed instructions accompanying the water heater.

What the Manufacturer Will Do and Period of Coverage
- 内部容器（内胆）。如果从热水器初始安装起五（5）年内，由于材料或制造工艺缺陷造成初始内胆泄漏，并经过“制造商”确认，“制造商”或它的代表将为“所有人”提供一台相应型号的热水器进行更换。（参阅3）。如果政府规定禁止“制造商”或它的代表根据本质量保证提供相应型号替代品，“所有人”将可以根据政府规定得到相应功能的新的热水器。但是，“所有人”需要支付“制造商”为了遵守政府规定更换热水器而需要增加的额外费用。
The Inner Tank. If the original inner tank
leaks within five (5) years from the date of original installation
of the water heater because of a defect in material or workmanship
which is proven to the Manufacturer's satisfaction, Manufacturer
or it's representative will furnish to Owner a comparable-model
replacement water heater. (See 3). If governmental regulations prohibit
Manufacturer or it's representative from furnishing a comparable-model
replacement water heater under this warranty, the Owner will be
furnished with a new water heater of comparable output as permitted
by such governmental regulations. However, the Owner will be charged
for the additional value of the item(s) which Manufacturer has incorporated
in the replacement water heater which does comply with such governmental
regulations.
- 除了内胆以外的任何部件。如果任何部件（除了内胆以外）被证明，并经过“制造商”确认，从热水器的初始安装之日起五（5）年内，在材料和制造工艺上缺陷，则“制造商”或其代表可选择为“所有人”提供更换件或维修有缺陷的部件。
Any Component Part Other than the Original
Inner Tank. If any component part (other than the inner tank) is
proven, to Manufacturer's satisfaction, to be defective in material
or workmanship within five (5) years from the date of original installation
of the water heater, it will be the option of the Manufacturer or
it's representative to either furnish the Owner with a replacement
for or repair the defective part(s).
- 更换热水器或部件的质量保证期限。适用于热水器更换或部件的相应的质量保证期限局限在原先的更换热水器或部件使用的质量保证期限内。
Limitation of Warranty Period for Replacement
Water Heater or Component Part(s). The respective warranty period
for replacement of the water heater or component part(s) is limited
in duration to the unexpired term of the original warranty period
applicable to the replaced water heater or component part(s).
- 有缺陷热水器部件的退货。“制造商”保留检查所谓的有缺陷的热水器或部件的权利，“所有人”应该负责将热水器或部件退回“制造商”或其代表的所有费用。
Return of Defective Water Heater Component
Part(s). Manufacturer reserves the right to examine the alleged
defect(s) in the water heater or component part(s), and it will
be the Owner's obligation to return the water heater and / or component
part(s) to the Manufacturer or it's representative.
- 热水器的退货，必须包括所有部件和系列号板。
When returning a water heater, all component
parts and the serial number plate must be included.
- 部件退货，应该分别标记和标示热水器的型号，系列号和安装日期。
When returning component part(s), they
must be individually tagged and identified with the water heater's
model number, serial number and date of installation.
- 初始安装日期的查证。如果“所有人”无法证明或提供初始安装日期的证明文件，则质量保证期按照附在热水器上的系列号板所标注的日期计算。
Verification of Date of Original Installation.
When Owner cannot verify or document the original date of installation,
the warranty period begins on the date marked on the serial number
plate affixed to the water heater.

What This Warranty Does Not Cover
- 本质量保证是“制造商”提供的唯一的质量保证，取代所有的其他保证，明示的或隐含的（书面的或口头的），其所包括的隐含的保证除外，但不局限于，用于某种特殊目的商销性和适切性所隐含的保证，局限在本有限质量保证上述规定的有效期内（如果“所有人”居住在美国加利福尼亚州，则隐含的质量保证期限局限在从初始安装之日起一年）。
This limited warranty shall be the exclusive
warranty made by the manufacturer and is made in lieu of all other
warranties, expressed or implied (written or oral), except the implied
warranties which include, but are not limited to , the implied warranties
of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose and which
are limited in duration to the periods specified above in this limited
warranty (if owner resides in California, the implied warranties
are limited to one year from the date of original installation).
- “制造商”对于任何由于任何热水器的缺陷，或热水器的使用而引起的附带事件，随之发生的后果，特殊的或意外的损坏或因此产生的费用，直接的或间接的不承担任何责任。
Manufacturer shall not be liable for any incidental,
consequential, special or contingent damages or expenses arising,
directly or indirectly, from any defect in the water heater or from
the use of the water heater.
- “制造商”对于任何由于热水器或其部件缺陷或其使用所引起的水破坏直接地或间接地产生的损坏不承担任何责任。此外，“制造商”的本质量保证对于下列任何或所有，但不局限于，的情况承担任何责任：
Manufacturer shall not be liable for any water
damage arising, directly or indirectly, from any defect in the water
heater or its component part(s) or from its use. Further Manufacturer
shall not be liable for this warranty under any or all of, but not
limited to, the following conditions:
- 被错用、误用、滥用、更改、疏忽或发生事故过的热水器或其任何部件。
The water heater or any of its component
parts has been subject to misuse, alteration, neglect or accident.
- 没有按照当地管道和/或建筑规程和/或规定进行安装的热水器。
The water heater has not been installed
in accordance with the applicable local plumbing and/or building
code(s) and/or regulations.
